Here's another one!

Microsoft boy (boss) wants to know if there's any way to have the e-smith box monitor internet connectivity with an eye towards having it page him anytime the internet connection goes down.  we have a dedicated ISDN coming in through an ISDN router and into the e-smith box.  I cant remember ever seeing anything that would do this.  I have seen something that would send an e-mail when connectivity went down, but our stupid MS Exchange server refuses to give up the e-mail when it doesn't have an internet connection (how rude).  

well anyway,  just thought I'd ask in case someone knows how.
