http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/rvandenaker/beta/e-smith-cups/documentation/howtos/hidden-settings.htmlHope you can answer this question for me. Would like to give printer admin access to some users and was following the instructions in the CUPS 'hidden-settings' document. However, I cannot execute the command "/sbin/e-smith/signal-event cups-reconfigure". I get the error: "Can't open directory /etc/e-smith/events/cups-reconfigure".
I have the e-smith cups installed as follows:
rpm -qa | grep cups
e-smith-cups-0.0.7-1sme6
gimp-print-cups-4.2.5-0smea3
cups-libs-1.1.19-8smea1
cups-1.1.19-8smea1
Here is the output of ls -l /etc/e-smith/events/actions/*cups*
-r-xr-xr-- 1 root root 1682 Oct 14 2003 /etc/e-smith/events/actions/cups-conf
-r-xr-xr-- 1 root root 1724 May 5 2003 /etc/e-smith/events/actions/cups-conf-startup
-r-xr-xr-- 1 root root 1430 May 4 2003 /etc/e-smith/events/actions/cups-reload
-r-xr-xr-- 1 root root 1431 Jun 26 2003 /etc/e-smith/events/actions/cups-restart
-r-xr-xr-- 1 root root 171 Jun 15 2003 /etc/e-smith/events/actions/cups-symlink-ppds
-r-xr-xr-- 1 root root 275 May 4 2003 /etc/e-smith/events/actions/cups-touch-syncref
Any ideas?, Thanks for your help
