proxypass just killed httpd (well i may have assisted)
« on: August 11, 2004, 07:08:14 AM »
Hey all,

you gotta hand it to me i know how to stuff things up  :-D
i was working with abe's contrib (proxypass) and because i was adding and removing passes, i was conserned about the location it was going to forward it to so i managed to leave the path blank , and got the location pointing to a local machine,so i lost all server-manager functionality, i went in httpd.conf and tried removing the entrys and i'm pretty sure i just stuck to the proxypass related one's but anyway i tried restarting httpd and it failed stopping and restarting.
i don't want to reinstall sme, but where do i go from here? i tried re-expanding the template but still wont stop and start httpd.
by the way i only played around with the httpd.conf file and didn't touch the template.
Cheers for any help

oh yeah here's the error message i get

Stopping httpd:                                            [ FAILED ]
