Can I also install this on a SME7 or is there a version for SME7 as well?

I haven't tested on SME7, but I doubt it will work.

I hope to do a SME7 version 'soon'.

Hasan,

I have had a similar experience to Kadybee in that after installation I see a new item in the server-manager, listed under "Unknown", and titled "contacts" (not "Contacts"). When I open it, I just see the LDAP information and nothing more. Please advise.

Thanks,

Was the latest installation rpm or script used? Namely...

http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs//hmuhammad/smeserver-ldap-contacts-0.3.1-01hm.noarch.rpm

...or...

The package can be installed with the following commands...

    lynx -dump http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs//hmuhammad/smeserver-ldap-contacts-0.3.1-02hm.install.sh | sh

Run the command
/etc/e-smith/events/actions/navigation-conf

and ignore all warnings that appear on screen

Just found thisd thread and trying tio install via the install script.  I have dowlonaded the rpms to a folder on my server and I have noticed that I now need to edit the install script.  Could anyone post a copy of the script up, as I am a novice linux user and I would really appricate the help.  I have downloaded the files into a folder named downloads in the root of my server.

Cheers Matt
