One thing I think would be very useful in the next release of e-smith would be managament tools for networked printers. I'm thinking of:
1. Printer que management (e.g. being able to delete printjobs by admin and the
original user)
2. rules to allo smaller printjobs to jump the que
3. Using LDAP to allow user specific quota's and accounting(usefull when different
departments use the same printer, also very usefull for educational enviroments)
I'd prefer the serverpanel to administer accounts.
I really would like to hear if such things are on the agenda. If someone has something like this already working on there SME-box a short howto is very much appreciated.
