I know e-smith has an ldap server but how do I use it. I have a mail server and dns on my e-smith server but when I set up the client, Netscape, using the parameters provided.
192.168.1.1:389
dc=mydomain,dc=com
with my username for the mail account on the server, it askes me for my password on startup but then returns an "unexpected network error"
If anyone knows how to or is using ldap sucessfully and has a tip, I would apriciate it.
