First of all: if this pops up twice, sorry about it. I am not (yet) used to this discussion forum.

I suppose my first topic ended up somewhere in the 'history' of the forum messages.

The question:
Is there anybody, having experience with combining 'Active Guardian' and the Squid proxy.

The idea behind:
I use e-smith at home, and would like to set up a 'netnanny' thing.
Active Guardian is supposed to do this, but whenever I change the port to 8080 (which is supposed the proxy port for AG), I only get 'pages refused'. I am kind of stuck, if it is a 'AG' feature, rather than Squid.

Any hint is appreciated,
Thanks,
Herman
