Has anyone in the community worked with LDAP and replication. I need to set up a server with an LDAP contact list, as well as central authentication through email username, there needs to be a backup server with the same LDAP structure, which it received from the Primary server. This would be a similar principal to replication among Win2k Active Directory Servers. My question is whether this is possible and if so what services would be involved, e.g. samba, openLDAP, etc.
ALTERNATIVELY
If replication isn't possible, would regular backup be the only other approach to have backup (but not redudancy).
