If I've got an ftp account setup for people to upload to my server, but would like to setup a virtual directory to another location on the server (for read-only access) how would I go about that? I've tried creating a symbolic link and that works great when I SSH into the server, but for FTP access the link just shows up as a file.
What I'm trying to do is give people read-only access to my mp3 ibay by logging into an ftp account and having the mp3 ibay show up as a folder.
Also, what does the e-smith server run as a default ftp server? Is it Apache? I'm afraid I don't know enough about that to not sound stupid.
