Topic: VPN not working-is SME the problem?

Hello All!

I have 5 computers behind an e-smith gateway.

   Comcast -> Gateway (10.0.0.100) -> 4 win9x, 1 win2k pcs

I am trying to connect with a company in Dallas who uses Securemote VPN software. The Secure remote appears to connect to their network but I cannot Terminal Serve into the machines.

    Remote Company (10.1.200.233)  <-  VPN Gateway aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd

So, the VPN software (securemote) successfully communicates with aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd however trying to Terminal Serve to 10.1.200.233 fails. Ping to 10.1.200.233 request times out.

Could it be that since I have DHCP turned on for my e-smith gateway (range 10.0.0.65 - 10.0.0.95---I think) that it is interfering somehow?

Any input is appreciated.
