How can I add "fields" and data to SME's configuration database ?
Eg. Let's say I have some additional attribute I want to associate with each account in the database. We know each account record has the fields Firstname, Lastname, Phone, etc...
Let's say for the sake of an example I want to add a field called "Department" (just an arbitrary example - this isn't really the field I want to add) to the record structure for each account which might be used to store the department name for each user or it could be blank.
Once the field has been added, how then can I manually set the field data for a particular user record (creating a user panel is too much for the short term and I need to be able to add this record for a project I'm working on currently - the panel will have to come later).
How would I do this ?
