Hi

how can I install 3 serial Wise Terminals to the e-smith server? Someone older than 40 is hearing there?  :-)))

I need to browse the Intranet based on SME with that saurus!

I guess your main problem is the lack of serial ports,
well there are two options.

1)  Buy a cheap isa/pci serial card to add the addtional ports
2)  Buy a terminal server ( jetstream or similar ) and access via an ip address

Yes, I am planning add a two serial port card to my one onboard COM1 motherboard.
The question is, where can I find a "how to" to use a WYSE (VT100) attached with a COM port to the e-smith to browse with lynxs?
A havenĀ“t on hands the terminals yet and I never plug such things to a server. What they use? Telnet? Need I write a special script to connect and browse or config a special /dev ?  If I could get a WYSE I would be trying with, but I will when I have a solution :-(   What a dilemma!
