Problem with restore now rpm
« on: May 28, 2002, 06:21:47 AM »
Hi,

I have been playing around with tape restores after finally getting what I believe was a successful backup.

When I tried using the restore now RPM on a 5.1.2 server, I got this log

May 29 13:15:55 mainserver e-smith[23255]: Processing event: RestoreNow

I note the device that was tring to be opened was /dev/tty when maybe it should be /dev/sto for a SCSI tape??

Any ideas?
