Topic: w2k print server

Hallo all,

we got five w2k boxes managed by an e-smith 5.1.2 server. There is one standalone jetdirect printer  and other two managed by a w2k server. As the last is in another domain
we had to setup user/password on it  for our boxes to be able setting the printer directely on the w2k server after joining the e-smith domain. Printjobs for the jetdirect are processed by the e-smith server and it works fine but trying to process printjobs for the other two on the w2k side does not work (clients send directely to the w2k print server).
When we set up the other two printers in e-smith and want clients not sending the job directely to the w2k server but to the e-smith and letting the e-smith deal with it the job hangs. May it be that jobs are send out to the w2k print server as root beeing the owner and w2k not allowing user root accessing the printers ?
