From what I can see looking at logging activity, OpenSSH appears to not log "some" logins of ssh clients. specifically, when a command line liging is specified, the login is recorded in /var/log/wtmp, but if a GUI type login such as winscp2 or ssh.com's windoze client (using the file transfer window only), NO logging activity takes place.
From what I can gather the sshd daemon DOES log, but the secure transfer daemon does not. Does anyone know how to turn on ALL login or file transfer activity logging?
