spamassassin seemed to have stopped working after 7.1upgrade

Is there a setting I have to make to re-activate Spamassassin after the 7.1 upgrade?  Spam is appearing in my inbox after the upgrade.

If you are using smeserver-fetchmail or configured fetchmail manually please see bug 2223. A workaround is suggested there.
