squidguard full block of www access
« on: November 22, 2004, 11:28:45 AM »
Ive installed Abe Loveless's squidguard on 6.01-01 and all went in ok: I see the server-manager panel & can add to the restricted / allow lists.
THANKS for the GREAT work Abe.

But with this new version..
1. only access to blocked sites if prevented: how would I bar all www access for an IP (before I edited squid.conf but its all changed now)?
2. any attempt to access a bad site simply replies 'err404 not found':
can I cause a screen to appear like before (ACCESS DENIED or something of the like in an html file)?

TIA  :pint: Rob

Hi,
i ve also installed the squidGuard3.2 from Abe Loveless on a new Sme 6.01-01-Installation without any other packets and i ve got a problem. After the installation i try to access the Server-Manager at
http://<myip>/server-manager and get a message "Access forbiddn" but if i try to access over the virtual domain for example
http://www.mysme.de/server-manager it works.
How can this be? Any ideas?
