Vacation
« on: September 22, 2015, 10:59:26 PM »
Hi,

Since the last update, last week, every day now I receive the following email:

Code: [Select]
Subject: Cron <root@ethelbert> /sbin/e-smith/vacation/check_vacation_dates.sh
Date: 22 Sep 2015 07:05:02 -0000

Checking vacation changes on 20150922
april never went on vacation before.
elie never went on vacation before.
Both fields empty or same date, not changing anything for janice
Both fields empty or same date, not changing anything for kathy
pam never went on vacation before.
syv never went on vacation before.
Both fields empty or same date, not changing anything for utest

This is new and http://wiki.contribs.org/Vacation says nothing about it.

  • Is it important?
  • How to disable it if it's not important?

Thanks

Syv

Hi,

I have updated the wiki page to reflect the new functionality.

Concerning the status mail from cron, I have a feeling that we should suppress it in the next release 8) Anyway, if you want to take immediate action, please follow the workaround given in http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7555#c26

Kind regards,

mats

Created an entry in bugzilla to handle the issue: http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9065
