smeserver-jappix
« on: February 27, 2015, 12:19:45 AM »
Hello,

I've searched but came up with very little.

Tried installing smeserver-jappix from the fws repo, but it fails with error:

Code: [Select]
Error: Missing Dependency: php-pear-CAS is needed by package jappix-1.1.3-1.el5.fws.noarch (fws)
I then looked around for the php-pear-CAS rpm, but it too fails to install:

Code: [Select]
yum localinstall php-pear-CAS-1.3.3-1.el6.noarch.rpm

<snip>

Is this ok [y/N]: y
Downloading Packages:
Running rpm_check_debug
ERROR with rpm_check_debug vs depsolve:
rpmlib(FileDigests) is needed by php-pear-CAS-1.3.3-1.el6.noarch
rpmlib(PayloadIsXz) is needed by php-pear-CAS-1.3.3-1.el6.noarch
Complete!
(1, [u'Please report this error in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Red%20Hat%20Enterprise%20Linux%205&component=yum'])

OK, so I'm stumped =/  Did I download the wrong rpm or something?

You need EPEL enabled to install smeserver-jappix. You'll then have to configure it like this:

Code: [Select]
db configuration setprop jappix Server xmpp.domain.tld BoshUrl https://bosh.domain.tld/http-bind/
signal-event webapps-update

With xmpp.domain.tld being your xmpp server and https://bosh.domain.tld/http-bind/ the URL to the bosh URL of your xmpp server
C'est la fin du monde !!!
