I'm a newbie as well, but I think your gateway should be what ever your IP address but with a .1 so if your ip was 22.222.245.222 your gateway would be 22.222.245.1 and your subnet should be 255.255.255.0.

Hope this helps

Hi Raul,
Welcome to SMEServer family

There's SME documentation you definitely have to read.
http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:Documentation is the place to start.
There's pictures of basic SMEserver network configuration in chapter 2.

You don't need two ethernet card in your PC unless you want to use your SME server in server-gateway mode (or ethernet bonding but this is off topic).

Your ADSL have two IP address, one internet IP and one LAN IP/subnet (usually 192.168.x.x/255.255.255.0). Use this ADSL LAN IP as gateway of your SME server.
